I really wish more people would watch The Shadow Line. All this talk about British television got me thinking about it and it’s honestly one of the best things I’ve ever seen. Britain’s answer to The Wire, with high-intensity drama, suspense built on silence rather than action, sensational performances and morally ambiguous characters.
